gratefulness: day 8
yeesh… today wasn’t so much fun and i’m not feeling fantastic, but there were - and still are - things to be grateful for!
so here goes:
- Relient K shirt and SF hoodie
- AP’s high-pitched voice when trying to imitate the students - ha!
- Holly Love, for caring so much :)
- getting emotions out
- “I <3 SF. what’s that, San Francisco? no, wait, it’s I <3 STUPID FACES!” Luke FTW :)
- Natalie’s reaction to Luke’s comment… brilliant ;)
- another radical lecture from SN
- speech tut, for brown sugar and more Holly and poem-ness
- scramblin’ but getting through my Xhosa exercise! :)
- China Week display, and filling in a quiz to win an iPod shuffle… yes please!
- lunch with the Sindi
- “The hobbit you just called fat? He’s skipping 2nd breakfast. The dwarf woman you called ugly? She spends hours braiding her beard so you can differentiate her from a dwarf man. That Elf you just made fun of for crying? She just lost her wizard friend to a Balrog. Put this as your status if you’re against bullying in Middle-Earth.” Matty, you legend. this is so friekin’ beautiful… i laughed forEVER :)
- falling asleep for ten minutes and dreaming i was Audrey Hepburn… heavenly!
- NM’s tut, for being relatively fun (for NM’s tut, after all) and seeing Lee
- movement! a lift with Jess and a new warm-up study and concepts and…
- being aware of my smallness
- fighting for joy
- Pammy, for being sweeter than sweet
- talking to Se Bear about the Journ work we have to do (yiiiikes!)
- getting my initial Journ work out of the way
- Sleepytime
- going to see CH.
- Mint Crunch chocolate :)
- talking nonsense - sheer and utter nonsense. i have skills, i tell you…
